Our centre, which houses Folk Tree Lodge has been a place that holds a tradition of quality arts and crafts using local natural materials. This tradition was established by Paola and Alvise, the previous owners of Folk Tree Lodge. All of their years of dedication to this place through fine craftmanship, woodwork and artistic skills have truly made Folk Tree Lodge what it is today, truly beautiful and unique . Sabrina Neveu who lived here with us took several classes with local artisans and began engaging in arts and crafts using local and recycled materials such as wool, fabrics and wood. We have learned many skills from her and continue this tradition here today. Our children are learning these skills too and engage with us in this endeavour.
